i went for a haircut yesterday. and i almost fall asleep while my hair was being cut halfway through. =.=

today went to work. the first thing Qifen saw me: u cut ur hair? lol..

and there was this doc, i was sitting in front of him looking through the microscope, and he oso asked the same qn.. i tot he wont notice, cos today was only the 3rd day we met.

yes, today was only the 3rd day we met, and he was asking me to join him for lunch. i said i always buy back to eat at the pantry de, but he still asked me to join him for lunch. den i was like.. ok.. come back so early oso nth to do. haha..

so we went to buy our lunch. i asked whether he wan to use my staff card anot, he said he oso got this card, cos he worked here b4, and he asked me to use his, but i said i got it too. he said he wanted to treat me. i said no need. i feel that it's so weird, we're not even close, it's only the 3rd day we met. somemore he's a doctor, and i'm juz a normal staff. it wont be nice for him to treat me.

he ordered his first, cos i was still thinking wat veggie to choose. haha. and when i looked up, he was gone, i tink he was probably topping up his kopitiam card. haha. so i told the uncle "pay together". after that, he came back, giving uncle his card and he said "pay together". den the uncle passed me back my card and told him, "already paid together le". LOL! he was so shocked and asked me how much, but i said dunno. den he asked what i wanna drink, i said i dun drink. and he insisted on buying drinks for me.. ok.. i've no choice but to say anything, cos i really dunno wat to drink.. =.=

when i was in the bus on my way back home, there was this guy sitting nxt to me. he was sleeping. and his sleeping position was exceptionally different from others. normally when ppl slp, at most their head will only touch the person's shoulder nxt to them. but for this particular guy, his head was lying on my LAP instead. zzz... dun wanna embarrass him in front of other ppl, so i nv wake him up. anyways, he oso will wake up occasionally, sleeps again, and head on my LAP again.. this cycle goes on and on until we alighted at the SAME stop. =.=

i'm so tired! finally, there will not be any micro-courses nxt week, cos nxt week's micro-course will be postponed. there were courses going on for the past 5 weeks ever since i came back from Taiwan! normally we're only having courses once/twice a month, now it's like having courses for 2 months non-stop! i cant even find a space to breathe! i've set myself a schedule that every morning i MUST reach my workplace at 7am to eat, and by 7:30am, i need to be back from NUS with the rats. cos dunno why the anaesthesia wont work well on them. last time it only took 2-5min for the rats to knock-out, but this time it took 45min-1hr! with multiple injections somemore! i was so afraid that even coming to work so early, i still might not be able to prepare everything before the doctors come, juz bcos of the rats! haiz..

finally nxt week onwards i can practise on rats by myself! i really need to prepare for my tests! these include: end-to-end(artery & vein), vein graft, end-to-side! i need to get at least a B! i need to stitch better than the previous times! seeing other doctors stitching motivates me even more! Hwaiting! ^^
