This morning when i was on my way to NUS CeLS building, i walked past NUH carpark and heard a sharp but soft chirping coming from the floor. while i was still walking, i keep looking around the floor and saw a little baby bird. it was so small! i could hardly see it! i need to go closer and strain my eyes in order to confirm that it was actually a bird! i was thinking, "so cute" while i was still heading towards CeLS building. after a while, i felt a sudden guilt. Questions coming from within me.. "What if someone drives and flatten the little life?" "Is the little one hungry?" "What if its parents are looking for it?" I knew it dropped from the tree because of the wind and it was raining last night.

So right after i've collected the rat from CeLS building, i ran towards the staircase and looked down. To my relief, even though i cant see the baby bird, i still can hear its helpless chirping. I saw a car coming and i was so afraid it might park at the slot where the bird was. Fortunately, the car did not. If not i will blame myself for my entire life!! I quickly ran down the stairs (despite of both my aching thighs), and ran towards the baby bird and picked it up. It was all wet!! poor little thing.. and it clung onto my fingers when i put it on my palm. so cute!! i thought, i need to put it somewhere where nobody will step on it. cos the bird was really small until ppl will not be able to see it. even myself, if it didnt chirp, i wont even notice it on the ground. so i left it at a higher plane. this way, the parents will be able to look for it easily too! ^^

After work, i need to send the rat back to CeLS, so i went back to the place, the baby bird was not there anymore. i was still thinking, if i see the baby bird there, i will take it home and take care of it. LOL! oh well.. it was not there anymore.. but i still can hear some sharp and soft chirping. this time coming from the tree. maybe the parents have took it back to its nest. 다행이다~ (learned this word from MGIAG. Daewoong keep saying it in the drama. ㅋㅋ) :)
